Join artist Michelle Detering for a fun evening of painting a horse
portrait in watercolor! We will use the horses at the Equine Center
for Learning as inspiration and models for our paintings.
Participants will learn the basic watercolor techniques to paint
watercolor horses including how to capture animal eyes, color
selection, mark making and how to combine loose washes with
controlled marks for the details. No drawing or watercolor
experience necessary! All supplies are provided. Participants will
leave the workshop with an 8X10 watercolor horse portrait ready
for framing!
